Effective packaging design requires the ability to think and plan in 3 dimensions. That's second nature to me.

Large format work
I've designed exhibitions and I've helped install exhibitions - and I will admit that installation is the harder task. Nonetheless, creating large format displays that stand out against their competitors requires spacial awareness and a particular skillset to be successful, and I have extensive experience in this area.

Height, width & depth
A logical progression from realistic illustration for me was 3D modelling and trying to create objects that can be manipulated in all directions and rendered precisely with controlled lighting.
